Cecelia T. Zablocki

Of Dorchester, died January 10th, 2010 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston after a brief illness. She was 87.

Born on September 15, 1922 in North East, Pennsylvania, beloved daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Pieczilewicz) Lenczewski, Cecelia lived for a short period of time in South Boston and has been a Dorchester resident since 1953.

A devoted homemaker, wife and mother, she had a great sense of humor and in her spare time enjoyed music, playing the piano and singing. She loved caring for her cats throughout the years. A woman of strong faith she was an active communicant at Saint Gregory Church in Dorchester Lower Mills.

Beloved wife of the late Stanley J. Zablocki, and sister of the late Alice, Julia, Mike and Stanley.

She is survived by her loving children John M. Zablocki and his wife Maria of Melrose, Richard A. Zablocki of Freemont, NH, Joseph A. Zablocki of Quincy, and Ann Marie Zablocki. In addition she is survived by her step-grandson Nel Lima and many nieces & nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory Church, Dorchester on Thursday, Jan. 14 at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Wednesday 5-9 PM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
