I join family and friends in celebrating the life of Mr. Al. I met Mr. Al over thirty six years ago and the immediate impact he had on my personal life was palpable and inspirational. Life is fragile, unpredictable and tomorrow is not promised. Therefore, I choose to live life much the way Mr. Al lived his life...with laughter, life and love. Mr. Al, rest assured...you are leaving a lasting legacy that will be admired, honored and cherished. I salute your service...fellow veteran! Rest well... Leroy Cooks Jr.

To Auntie Hattie and family, Just Al's smile is worth cherishing the memories. Such fond memories over the years. What can be said about a man who gave and asked only to be loved in return. I shall remember his full of life and very fun and loving spirit. To you and my family, we send love, condolences and continued prayers of comfort.
