Obituary for Clement Fairweather

A Beloved Son, Father, Brother, Grandfather & Friend

In quiet reflection and deep love, we honor the life of Clement Fairweather, a man whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and kindness to all who knew him. Born in St. Mary, Jamaica, to Nora Thomas and Charles Fairweather, Clement’s journey was one of courage and determination. In the late 1970s, he migrated to the United States, carrying with him dreams of opportunity and a heart rooted in family and faith. Through perseverance and hard work, he built a life defined by service, generosity, and creativity.

For more than forty years, Clement faithfully served as a Dietary Aide, beginning his career at Boston City

Hospital and later dedicating many years to hospitals throughout the Indianapolis, Indiana community. His work was more than a profession—it was an extension of his caring spirit. He nourished others not only with food, but with compassion and dignity.

Clement was truly a jack of all trades. Whether repairing cars, painting homes, or lending his hands wherever needed, he was always ready to help.

Known affectionately as the “video man,” he had a gift for capturing life’s most joyful moments. From weddings to family gatherings, he preserved

memories that will now serve as treasured reminders of his love. His camera reflected his heart—focused always on people, celebration, and togetherness.

Clement’s life stands as a testament to resilience, devotion, and community. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his hearty laughter, and his willingness to show up whenever someone needed him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Mark Fairweather, Nicole Fairweather, and Kesha Roache; his beloved grandchildren, Jayrelle Fairweather,

Moenay Small, Sa’nya Roache, and Amaiya Craig; his sisters and brother, Velma Ruff, Hazelin Fairweather, Junior Fairweather, Gerdean Fairweather, Delores

Fairweather, and Stephanie Fairweather; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Though he is no longer with us in body, his love endures in every memory recorded, every lesson shared, and every life he touched.

Viewing will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Saturday, February 28th 10-11AM. Funeral Service at 11AM. Interment private.
