I first met Dean many years ago, while he was walking his two big rescue dogs--the first of many pairs--around Turners Pond. I have had many conversations with him over the years. He was a warm and kind human being with a good sense of humor. I have missed him when he moved from Milton a few months ago, and I will always miss him and remember his words of wisdom. Sincerest condolences to his family. RIP. Fran Granville

I met Dean at Turner's pond many years ago, while he was walking with his two big rescue dogs. I've had many conversations with him since. I was sad when he moved from Milton a few months ago, but he told me he's see me again at the pond. I will miss him, his warm smile, and his sense of humor. He always had something nice to say. Since our first encounter, he has raised at least two more pairs of big rescue dogs, and I know he loved them very much. Max and (Derrick?) will miss their dad. Rest in peace, Dean. Sincere condolences, Fran Granville

My parents were frequent diners at Schroeder's, and we enjoyed many family gatherings for anniversaries and birthdays. My Dad lunched there often, and always loved seeing his name scratched in the bar before it was completed. Dean was always kind and gracious. My condolences to you and your family. Nancy Cotter Hahn

Dean and I were good friends for 30 years, shooting skeet together and sharing experiences. He was caring, generous and competent, with unbounded love for Joan and their sons. He was held in very high esteem by our common friends who will miss his warm personality and great sense of humor. Beth joins me in expressing our deepest condolences to Joan, Clinton and Jordan. / Gerry Tishler.
