I am saddened to hear this news. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. When my family moved to Milton all those years ago, the Duzan family and Erik were all there to welcome us as friends and I am forever grateful.

Erik you have always been more than my friend. Your trustworthy and honesty and loyalty and non-judgemental kindness you have shown me has made me who I am but a much better person. I do remember all of our antics and amazement that we actually pulled it off and we didn't get hurt or arrested. Love you my brother. Tim Dunphy

Grammie, Jacob Thomas, Zachary, and Hannah, My heart is just broken with you all. Uncle Erik was truly one of a kind, and it's hard to imagine life without him here. He had such a way of making everyone feel loved and supported, and I'll forever be grateful for the role he played in my life.
