With heartfelt sorrow and enduring love, we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Helene Laure Lucien, affectionately known to all as “Manmie,” who departed this life on May 31, 2025, at the age of 88.
Born on July 5, 1936, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Helene Laure lived a life of quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a woman of grace and resilience who nurtured those around her with warmth, wisdom, and a steady spirit. Her home was a place of peace, her heart always open, and her love unconditional.
Manmie was preceded in death by her loving husband Dervil Lucien, and their cherished children: Jean Jules Lucien, Lucille Lucien, Yolene Lucien, Jean Claude Lucien, Merlek Lucien, and Yola Lucien. Though we mourn her absence, we find comfort in knowing she is joyfully reunited with them.
