Obituary for Jarvis Dean Brock

Jarvis Dean Brock, 86, of Milton and OFD, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2024.

Beloved husband of Doris T. (Ingersoll) Brock for 64 years. Loving father of Theresa Brock (Paul) of NH, Doris Jackson (Bill) of Rockland, David Brock of Boston, Daniel Brock (Margaret) of Avon, and the late James Brock. Also survived by his grandchildren Robert (Tracey), George, Lauren, Kellie, Veronica and John, and great grandchildren, Thomas and Estelle.

Dean was born in Coldiron Kentucky to the late Golden and Verley (Blanton) Brock and was one of five children. Dean worked for the USPS for over 40 years and is an honorable Veteran of the United States Navy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Gregory Church, 2223 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, Friday March 15 at 11:30 AM. Family and friends invited. Visiting hour to be held prior to the mass at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Friday March 15 from 10-11 AM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
