Jean Merchard Exume, born January 5, 1953, was a vibrant and memorable man whose presence could fill a room. He loved sharing stories and could spend hours recounting moments from his life with friends and family. Those stories were never just stories—they were pieces of his journey, reflections of his humor, and glimpses into the life he lived.

Jean deeply valued the people around him. He enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family, singing, laughing, and welcoming new faces into conversation. Meeting new people brought him joy, and he never missed an opportunity to share stories of his childhood and the experiences that shaped him.

Jean’s legacy will live on through his siblings and his children. His stories, his lessons, and his spirit will continue to carry forward from one generation to the next. In the smiles, the laughter, and the strength of his children, you will always see pieces of him.

So when you look at them, remember that Jean is still present in the love he gave, the lessons he shared, and the memories we hold. This moment is not truly a goodbye—it is simply a “see you later.”
