Obituary for Karen T Julian

Karen T (Iles) Julian, 73 of Canton, formerly of Dorchester, passed away on March 11, 2024, surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness.

Beloved wife of the late Albert Julian, Sr. Devoted mother to Aleisa Fleming-Dunn and Patrick Dunn, Eric Benoit and Phua Khang, and Jason Benoit and Narelle Jordan. She was also stepmother to Paul Benoit and Joanna Benoit.

Known lovingly as Nana Birdie to Dasia Tocman, Christopher Tocman, Maya Lily Dunn, William Benoit, Lindsey Hardy, Jade Benoit, Thomas Benoit, Christopher Feeney and Charlie Benoit. Great grandmother to Xavion Copeland. She was Auntie Birdie to Katie Iles and Caroline Iles.

Survived by her brothers Robert Iles and John Iles and her sisters in-law Kare Anderson, Sally Iles and Karen Griffey.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Rita (Carr) Iles, her brother Kevin Iles and nephew Matthew Iles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 15, 2024, in St. Gregory’s Church, 2215 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, MA. at 10 o'clock. Visitation at the church from 9 - 10 am. Interment Private.
