Lucius Wayne Wilder III, known by his beloved friends and family as “Lou” and “Louie” passed away, with family by his side, on April 19, 2025. He was fifty-nine years old.

Louie was born in St. Margaret’s Hospital in Dorchester, MA on January 26, 1966, to the late Margaret (Randolph) Wilder, and late Lucius Wayne Wilder Jr. Born into a large family of which he was the very heart of. Louie was the life of the party, and he made a friend wherever he went.

Beloved brother to the late Margaret Randolph, Sylvia Yamamoto, Lyman Randolph, Andrene Scott, Leah Randolph, the late Kester Wilder, Gaura Prasad, Darlene Rosell Wilder, Lena Jacobs and Lynda Reid.

Lucius was also preceded in death by his late nephew Edmond “Eddie” and niece Marjada McConney; nephew Henry “Essay” Jernigan. Lucius will be reunited with his twins; Sandra and Johnathan Wilder.

Lucius is survived by his children Thomika, Thomas, Taleah, Brittany, Jasmyne, Lucius and Selena. His legacy lives on in his grandchildren TJ (Thomas), Enrique, Madyson, Lucius V, Evelynn, Eddie (Edmond), Evelyne, Elijah, Mariah, Elias, Eleah, and Ryleigh. His memory too will be held in the heart of his lifelong very best friend, Terryna Andrews. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and others will love him endlessly.

The Wake will be held at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS on Friday, May 9th from 4-8PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory Church, 2215 Dorchester Avenue, on Saturday, May 10th at 10AM. Interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery.

Repast will be hosted at Florian Hall, 55 Hallet Street, Dorchester, MA 02122.
