Obituary for Michelle Malloy

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michelle Malloy, age 52. Michelle was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness and warmth touched the lives of many.

Born and raised in Milton, Massachusetts, Michelle attended Fontbonne Academy in Milton and later graduated from Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. She went on to enjoy a fulfilling career with Goulston & Storrs law firm, where she dedicated 25 years of service.

Beloved mother of Scott Malloy and his fiancée Jessica Ruggerio, she was the cherished daughter of Sylvia Malloy and the late David Malloy. Michelle was the loving sister of Carla (Malloy) and her husband Patrick Browning Michelle was also the proud “auntie” of Sofia and Elena Browning, who brought her immense joy.

Her life was defined by love for her family and the strong connections she built with friends near and far. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her joyful laugh, and the lasting impact she made on those fortunate enough to know her.

In addition to her family, Michelle leaves behind many dear friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.

A celebration of her life will take place at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, where family and friends are invited to gather in her honor on Sunday, September 7th from 2-6PM. Michelle and I worked together at Goulston for 20 years and I remember she would stay late night with me during events. She was truly a great friend who lit up the room with her smile. I will never forget the many laughs we shared. I'm so heartbroken to hear the news. May she RIP. My deepest condolences. Jessy Colon

My deepest sympathies to Michelle's family. She was my bowling team's "Biggest Cheerleader" on Thursday nights and it will definitely not be the same without her. We will all remember her smile and hugs. Almost every week she showed up to cheer the team on and grace us with her presence. And although she didn't bowl; she certainly seemed like part of the team. From her smile, cheers, laughs, hugs and words of kindness; she will surely be missed. Michelle's smile would light up a room and shared many laughs and hugs with the league when we seemed to need it most. She will truly be missed, but never forgotten. I know she is at PEACE. She made and had an impact on so many. I hope she knew how many lives she touched and how much she was appreciated. May she RIP and know she was loved by many. - Susan Dwyer

I knew Michelle when I worked at Goulston. She was a smart and witty co-worker who was always happy to help others. For a few years, she sat down the hall from me and she would frequently talk of her son Scott with obvious pride. Michelle had a wonderful big smile that always seemed to be present, which is what I will remember most about her. My deepest sympathies to her family and all who knew her. Kathie

The Dorchester/Southy pool and darts community which has so openly accepted me into it's ranks is now darker without her smile, is colder without her warmth, is now weaker without her strength. I'm certain to long time friends and family she was much more than a smile and a pool cue, but to me she was the voice that was never afraid to say what needed to be heard, and the ear to listen to what what needed to be said, I'll not forget her.

Michelle worked alongside me for 15+ years, the person at Goulston I spoke with the most on a daily basis, the person I depended on the most. While she was fantastic at her work, she also made sure I remembered that we don't live only for work. She played countless practical jokes on me, and she called out my BS whenever warranted. But she was also there to support me when needed. She is gone far, far, far too soon.

I'm saddened by passing of Michelle. She brought the fun anywhere she went and always her friends laughing. Her love for Boston sports were unmatched and she was a fierce competitor on our dart team. Rest easy Michelle, you will be missed by all.
