Condolences

To the Byron family please accept my condolences. I just heard of Paul's passing. He was a great Racquetball player. Beat me much too often. More important he was a gentlemen, intelligent and caring. He had a way of seeing the wisdom in life's pitfalls. I am sorry for his passing.

I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was a wonderful man. Whenever he saw me at the ball games he would say to me "Hey Susie!" He was always so nice to me. Wonderful memories of those times. God be with you all. Susan Burke

Mark Sills It was baseball that brought me to meeting Paul. I wasn't Milton-born and so I really didn't know anyone when my boys were old enough to start playing Little League. Paul readily welcomed me into his circle, introducing me around and bringing me onboard as his assistant coach for the famed Merchants franchise. When my son was twelve, Paul handed me the reins and stayed on as my assistant. But it was always his team and I let him know that. I was forever grateful that he took me under his kind wing. There was always great humor, laughs, and a little insider's joke about something. He was a great coach to my boys and a good friend and mentor to me. He made baseball fun for the kids and everyone else up there at Cunningham. To Sheila, the boys and Molly, I loved your Dad and will forever be grateful to him for making a wonderful time in our lives a true and lasting memory. A tribute to who Paul was. He will be missed by many yet, so fondly remembered.

Paul and I were 7th floor "hall walking buddies" when we were both being treated at Dana-Farber and then would occasionally see other (and Shelia) at DF follow up appointments. It did not take me more than a moment to see what a true gentleman and a fine human being Paul is. Shelia, you, Paul and your entire family are in Deb and my thoughts and prayers and will remain so for a long time to come. Take care. Jim and Deb Nicoletti

Sheila, Your loss is immense, because you are so lucky to have found and loved such a wonderful man. My mother loved him from the very beginning. For me he was always a true gentleman. May you find some comfort in the days to come loving the amazing children you both raised so well.

To entire Byron family, I was shocked to hear of Paul's passing. I can still remember the day your family moved to 1111 Brook Rd. My wife and I are still down at our Florida home probably for another month then we head north for the summer. Very sorry I missed Paul's services. All the best to you, Bob and Rosemary Donoghue.
