Obituary for Virginia Mary Duseau

Virgina Mary Duseau, a retired teacher and principal with the Boston Public Schools, died Thursday April 9, 2026.

Born in Boston, she graduated from Monsignor Ryan High School and Teachers College, Class of 1952.

Beloved daughter of the late Joseph O. and Mary A. (Blessington) Duseau. Devoted sister of the late Paul J. Duseau and his late wife Mary L. (Doucette) Duseau and the late Joseph O. Duseau and his surviving wife Janice Duseau of Georgia. Beloved aunt of Robert Duseau and his wife Marianne of Plymouth, Ricahrd Duseau and his wife Karen of Weymouth, David Duseau of Plymouth, Stephen Duseau and his wife Heather of New York, Joseph “Jay” Duseau and his wife Meghan of New York and Kaitlyn “Kate” Duseau of Georgia. Virginia is also survived by many loving grandnephews and grandnieces.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, 432 Adams Street, Milton, Friday April 17 at 10:30 am. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Thursday 4-7 PM. Interment New Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Virginia’s memory may be made to Catholic TV Network, P.O. Box 9196, Watertown, MA 02471 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678.

We have many wonderful memories especially of the "Great Aunties Great European Adventure" with us and other happy celebrations over the years.
